Are you starting from scratch? Get ready!
Compile your family records – genealogical data about your living relatives, copies of birth, christening, marriage, and death certificates of your ancestors, even old postcards, letters and diaries. Correct dates and places are vital information that helps determine which archives to search at. Call your relatives, ask the oldest members of your family about various family events, their time frame and place where it took place. Collect your family photographs; you can make a sound or video record of your interviews.

NOTE: Due to privacy law protection, parish records younger that 100 years (can be older, if entered in a book containing more recent entries) may be accessed only by direct descendants or by authorized persons. We can access these records in your stead only based on the power of attorney and a notarized copy or copies of documents proving your kinship (birth certificate or marriage certificate).

Set your budget!
Decide how much do you want to invest in this research and how far back do you wish to investigate your family history- meaning how many generations back would you like us to go.
